December - Paula Patton
It's Christmas time and the new Mission: Impossible movie has just been released, so as a celebration of Christmas, and Tom Cruise, the pin up geek girl this month is none other than the beautiful Paula Patton. So let's see if we can take a walk down her geek memory lane.
Paula is 36 (gosh!), but curiously enough her acting career has only really taken off in the last few years. Before that, she spent most of her time behind the cameras on documentaries (which tends to point towards a certain geekiness in as of itself). But once in front of the cameras, she has got a few geek points to her name. Her first appearance was in Will Smith's Hitch, and then went onto films like London and Idlewild, before starring in the sci-fi film Déjà Vu, and followed this up by the horror film Mirrors. She was in Precious and Just Wright, before signing up for a regular gig on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as the new ADA, which she then tossed aside to do Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. She is also in the comedy Jumping The Broom, but her next big geek outing will be as the villainess in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? 2, which I think most people will have mixed feelings about. Regardless...
